Traps A400 Acoustic Portable Drumset -$350.00 in Springfield, Massachusetts For Sale

Price: $350
Type: Music instruments, For Sale - Private.

I'm selling my Traps A400 Acoustic Portable Drumset. It's an excellent drumset for practice or for smaller venues. I would have to say that the sound is 80-85% the quality and volume of a shell kit (this is shell-less). The set has Remo Emperor Clear heads (replaced the stock Pinstripe heads). They've been on the set for 3 months and used in maybe 10 gigs/rehearsals...pretty new. Obviously, you can fit ALL the drums in one regular 20" bass drum bag (and even stack a lot of the hardware in there too, plus a cymbal bag). If you really wanted to, you probably could fit the entire drumset with cymbals and hardware in one of those rolling, 3-4 feet tall and 4 feet long wheeled cases and just wheel it off to the car after gig (no need for multiple drum bags!).
I'm selling the portable snare, bass drum, 10, 12, and 14 inch tom with the original rack designed for this set. The rack includes two built-in cymbal stands (go into the two main, standing metal tubes...no needs for extra cymbal stands ;) and an extension snare drum stand (that attaches to the rack...no need for a seperate stand with tripod legs). In short, all you would need is a hi hat stand, bass drum pedal, and cymbals, and you're all set to gig. The last I am NOT including with the set.
I'm selling it because I need the money and can't justify keeping around a second drumset that I don't use so much (due to the fact that I'm getting called for heavier venues). however, it's in perfect, useable condition with no broken items.
Small snag: the "floor tom" clamp on the right tube of the rack slips due my losing the original lug and replacing it with a stock lug that doesn't a good job of holding the clamp tight. This is NOT broken or a design flaw...it's just a simple fix that you can probably do by taking the metal tub to a hardware store or music store and finding a lug combination that tightens the clamp stronger. I just never got around to doing that....but...full disclosure :)
Finally, please do not give me "offers". $350.00 firm, as this kit sells new for $600 bucks and I never used it more than 15 gigs or so. I'm taking $250.00 off for using it 15 times. Not bad. :)
