Eddie Merckx is considered the most successful racer of all time. He helped found the Eddie Merckx company 30 years ago, and they have been making superbe quality bikes ever since. This is an exquisite, high end frame. It features unidirectional carbon fiber, and no internal or external structural reinforcements, which eliminates creaking and increases stiffness. The frame weighs about 2 pounds.
Ride quality is excellent. Very stiff and responsive, while still forgiving and comfortable. Quick, stable handling. The braking power is amazing, and shifting is effortless with the SRAM double-tap shifters.
BRAND NEW parts include: shifters, rear derailleur, bb, brakes, cassette, chain, tape, cables/housing, bars, seat, tires, and brake pads. Wheels are xxxx model, and have less than 400 miles on them. The stem has 2 months of use, and the crank/f derailleur are lightly used in great shape.
